Paris - Museum of Picasso

|
In Paris, I visited the museum of Picasso. This museum is the collection, which his children and grandchildren donated to the museum, after Picasso died.
The collection is impressive, during your walk in the museum you learn everything about Picasso's life and the influence of the events during his life on his art. Simply the whole evolution from a young, beginning artist until the Picasso we all know.
RE Ronald: zodra de geheugenkaart er is, kan ik beginnen. Nog even geduld... (dat geldt trouwens ook voor mezelf).

Paris - Eiffeltower

Last week, I was in Paris again. (Last time I was there in November, take a look at http://pvdeyden.fotopages.com/?entry=278266 )
As every "normal" tourist, I took some pictures of the Eiffeltower, but I hope that the pictures are not those of the "normal" tourist.
More pictures of Paris from my point of view next days...

Katrien, de foto's van Parijs worden ontwikkeld: bij de fotograaf en de Z/W-tjes in mijn donkere kamer wanneer ik nog eens tijd heb. Dat is het nadeel van analoog (voor mietjes volgens Curlie), maar de digitale camera is besteld, maar daarvoor moest ik wachten tot mijn verjaardag...

In my entry of 18 May I showed you pictures of a small village, where my grandparents used to have a cottage. Take a look at http://pvdeyden.fotopages.com/?entry=439794&back=http://pvdeyden.fotopages.com/
These pictures where more than 10 years old and Ronald (always him!?) asked me if I'd had been there again ever since then.
Well, I did, last week and today the film was developed: (still not working digital): enjoy it, just like I did enjoy my childhood-memories ...
Funny detail: the place is so small that things did not change at all during 30 years.
Ronald: je moest wel een paar dagen wachten want ik kom net terug uit een ander klein dorpje: Parijs.

I can already tell you, that these small villages are still exactly the same as 10 years ago, even the same as 30 years ago. Time had stopped there...

Archery - Boogschieten

Some time ago, friends of mine organised a friendly competition of archery. Most of us had never handled a bow, but with a glass of beer it was a nice afternoon. These are not my best pictures, but the idea is to get something of the nice atmosphere...
